Strathpeffer Art Fayre 2015

Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th November

 

I will be displaying six new pieces of art.  There will be four 'Photo-Paintings' inspired by Beauly Priory, Dunrobin Castle and picturesque Sutherland Cottages.  I have recently been enjoying creating oil paintings and two of these will be on display including 'Inverness High Street' (see below).  There will also be a selection of unframed 'Photo-paintings' for sale.

As I was dropping off my artwork, I could see that a lot of beautiful paintings had already been delivered so it will be an exhibition well worth attending.  Hope you can make it!

East Sutherland Art Society Exhibition

I'm busy mounting work for the East Sutherland Art Society Exhibition...

I love looking round this annual exhibition to see the variety of beautiful art created in East Sutherland.  Such a beautiful place to inspire beautiful art!

I will be showing a few new 'Photo-paintings' inspired by the view from my new house in Golspie, exploring the wilds of Loch Brora countryside, and revisiting Dunrobin Castle in the Spring.

I will also be showing a large painting of Dunrobin Castle.

All work will be for sale and I will also have prints, unframed pieces & postcards for sale.

I am really pleased to have just delivered 8 pictures to Beauly Gallery!  It is an inspiring gallery with lots of beautiful and original artwork.  I then went for a walk around the historic priory and lovely countryside to look for inspiration for new pieces...
