What is a Photo-Painting?
1. I start by creating a distorted architectural model with
painted detail.
2. Then I photograph it
under lighting. I aim for an image where there is a blend of reality and illusion.
3. I then print the image with an inkjet printer and use a brush and
water to make the ink of the photograph run so that I can add painted
effects. The result is a unique blend of sculpture, photography and
painting.
Through this method I can produce multiples from the same photograph but each one has unique hand painted detail. Please contact me if you would like to order one, or visit my shop on Ebay:
